Day Twenty Seven: All About Eve

Dear David,

Lovely day today. Went into Glasgow to have a browse in the shops and went for lunch at Fifi and Ally - a simply scrumptious salad of warm smoked salmon, rocket, capers and dijon mustard. Delightful.

Went to the Farmers Market yesterday morning so have an array of meat and vegetables to prepare some lunch meals this evening. The pièce de résistance was the rather large chicken I bought from the St. Brides poultry farm - positively the best chicken I have ever tasted. Got a smaller one to make some stock as well. Yum. Going to make a derth of meals to freeze this evening to prevent any idle hands and a repeat of the chips/jaffa cakes incident.

Treated myself to facial this evening with the help of the lovely Eve Lom. Skin is looking fantastic at the moment and am careful to use products now with little to no chemicals and organic, where possible. Eve Lom cleanser, followed by Dr.Organic Manuka Honey Scrub and then Eve Lom TLC Radiance Cream - lovely! Skin smoother than a baby's bum now.

Off to cook up a storm.
